The conference will be held from 1 to 3 June 2023 in Warsaw the capital of Poland.
The venue will be at Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences (in Polish: Centrum Astronomiczne im. M. Kopernika PAN; CAMK) located at Bartycka str. 18.
There are two bus lines that stop in front of CAMK: #108 and #167 (for timetables, rout maps, etc. see https://www.wtp.waw.pl/en/; the name of the stop is Figowa).
The closest hotels are Regent (https://www.regent-warsaw.com/) and Hotel Hera ~9 min by bus #167, and Hotel Lazienkowski (https://www.hotellazienkowski.pl/en/contact/) ~6 min by bus #108.
Another option are Mercure Grand (https://mercure-grand-hotel-warsaw.hotel-ds.com/en/#main), Sheraton (https://www.sheratonwarsaw.pl/) and any other hotels near Plac Trzech Krzyzy, ~15 min by bus #108.
The dates proposed are just at the end of spring so we can fully enjoy the place. However, this is also beginning of high tourist season, so we recommend to make hotel reservations in advance.
To get downtown Warsaw from the Chopin airport we highly recommend a taxi or app-based cab services Uber and Bolt which are cheaper than regular taxis. Moreover, Bolt is cheaper than Uber, and the difference is particularly significant if you go from the Chopin airport. The trip from the Chopin airport to Warsaw downtown would cost ~40-50 PLN (~10-12 euro; airport taxis and Uber). Public transport requires transfers and it is not uncommon to lose a wallet in a bus from the Chopin airport to a city center. Please take a taxi from those waiting outside the arrival hall (they must have name of the taxi company and phone number). Do not accept any cars offered by people inside the arrival hall!
For more information see:

If you arrive to Modlin airport see:
https://www.warsaw-modlin-airport.com/transport.php
We highly recommend to get 3-day ZTM ticket which entitles to unlimited number of journeys for 72 hours from its validation and costs 36 PL (~8 euro). For all necessary details see: https://www.wtp.waw.pl/en/ticket-tariff/
In particular, ZTM tickets on the airport premises can be bought at the Passenger Service Centre in the arrival hall, and from ticket vending machines located at bus stops and by the entrance to a railway station.
Credit cards (CC) are commonly accepted, however, some cash is always useful because sometimes there is a minimum amount that could be paid by CC. Most taxis accept CC but it may always happen that it doesn’t work. Since there is no ATM machine at CAMK or its neighborhoods we strongly recommend to get some Polish zlotys (PLN) at one of ATM machines or the Currency Exchange offices in downtown Warsaw or at the airport upon arrival.
Note that the Currency Exchange offices at the Warsaw airport offer very poor exchange rates that could be even 20-25% worse than those located downtown Warsaw.
Please check rates before exchanging!
